The Barrett Racing Team has been in existence since 2004. We started with a borrowed trailer and a child wanting to try to drive a race car. Now, two years later, we have two cars and one 16' trailer with our sponsors' logos on it.

We have been active in the track and in the community for the past 2 years and have worked with our sponsors to assist them with community exposure through our web site, running various school based activities, on-line contests, and participating in parades. Every year we try to give back to the community that supports us.

Driver of the # 48 Car is Ken Barrett

In Ken's rookie year he was able to score 3 wins, 4 seconds, and 3 thirds.
In his sophomore year, Kenny graduated to Jr. Honda where he was racing against children who were older and more experienced than him. Although Kenny was able to pull off a number of second and third place finishes, he never made it to victory lane.
While he had an average finishing position of 4.9 this year, we were happy to have learned so much about the car and our driver's determination.

Driver of the # 25 Car is Colin “C.J.” Barrett

In Colin's partial rookie year, he had to overcome various challenges, first of which was his age. QMA Rules and the interpretation of the “Rules of Racing in NJ” clashed. Colin spent his entire novice training in Delaware . Finally, when he was able to race in NJ, it was the end of the season and he participated in only a few events. But in the events he did participate in, he had an average finish of 1.3.
